Sorry folks — if you want a grande one-pump mocha no whip, that's not what you should say at British department store Debenhams.
That's too complicated.
Debenhams wants to make it as simple as it can possibly manage. So, it came up with this ridiculously simple coffee menu, reports Paula Forbes at Eater.
Want that mocha? It's a "chocolate-flavoured coffee."
"The new-look drinks menu which describes coffee in simple terms has been created in direct response to customer feedback that revealed over 70% of coffee drinkers have experienced 'coffee confusion' in cafes, bars and restaurants,"says the press release.
It is, as Cristiana Wilcoxon at Foodbeast points out, the anti-Starbucks.
